Common申請系統更換文書題目！
今年Common申請系統公布主文書題目的時間相比去年要晚一些，此次僅變更了一個題目，這也是近五年內對文書題目進行變更，CA解釋此次變更的理由是淘汰使用較少的題目選項。 CA是美國本科三大申請系統之一，也是申請者數量的一個。CA的文書題目也會經常進行細微的調整，不光是為了幫助申請者可以通過這些題目寫出自己的故事，同時也為了學校能更好的選擇符合自己招生原則的學生。 接下來讓我們共同了解一下21-22年的文書題目及變更內容： 題目一 Some students have a background, identity, interest, or talent that is so meaningful they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story. 解釋：“自我介紹”，讓申請者描述下自己的某個特質，比如背景、身份、興趣等，說明是自己不可或缺的一部分，通過你的故事，描述它們是如何幫助你更好的展示自己。 題目二 The lessons we take from obstacles we encounter can be fundamental to later success. Recount a time when you faced a challenge, setback, or failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn from the experience? 解釋：“失敗是成功之母”，大體可以理解為這層含義，需要學生對自己以往經歷中遭受的失敗、挫折、阻礙等等進行描寫，同時更重要的是寫出這些經歷對你的影響，以及經歷過后自己的成長，聽著挺像小時候寫的作文吧。 題目三 Reflect on a time when you questioned or challenged a belief or idea. What prompted your thinking? What was the outcome? 解釋：“批判性思維”，題目要求學生寫一次挑戰權威、信念的經歷，這個題目國內的考生寫起來可能比較難一些，我們的習慣就是相信權威，遵守約定俗成的規則，但是批判性思維是學生的一個極其重要的品質，所以如果此題目如果寫的好，相信可以為自己加分不少，需要注意的是，調整權威不一定非得成功，重要的是動機、過程、收獲。 題目四 Reflect on something that someone has done for you that has made you happy or thankful in a surprising way. How has this gratitude affected or motivated you?（新增） 解釋：講一次自己受助于人的經歷，說白了就是別人如果幫助了你并且給你帶來了正面的感受，并且通過這樣的事情，自己是如何受激勵的。我理解這個題目主要是寫考生是否具有一定的社會責任感，別人幫助了你，之后你是否會去幫助其他人，反映我們回饋社會的心理變化過程。套用華仔的一句話就是：學到的要教人，賺到的要給人。 題目四（刪除） Describe a problem you've solved or a problem you'd like to solve. It can be an intellectual challenge, a research query, an ethical dilemma - anything that is of personal importance, no matter the scale. Explain its significance to you and what steps you took or could be taken to identify a solution. 題目五 Discuss an accomplishment, event, or realization that sparked a period of personal growth and a new understanding of yourself or others. 解釋：“大師我悟了”，寫一次經歷、瞬間、事件等等，在此之后自我感悟和成長，注重的點還是在于自我的成長或者對他人的重新認知。 題目六 Describe a topic, idea, or concept you find so engaging that it makes you lose all track of time. Why does it captivate you? What or who do you turn to when you want to learn more? 解釋：“為愛癡狂”，有沒有那么一件事讓你食不知味，夜不能寐。如果有的話那就是要寫下來的，這件事為啥讓你為之著迷，如果你想更深入其中，你會怎樣尋求幫助，向誰尋求幫助，講的是人的堅持、激情以及方法。 題目七 Share an essay on any topic of your choice. It can be one you've already written, one that responds to a different prompt, or one of your own design. 解釋：“愛寫啥寫啥”，這道題看似簡單，實則較難，就像武林對決，對方出拳毫無章法，怎么破。所以寫這個題目之前要慎重考慮，假如你了解自己申請學校希望看到的特質，那這個題目也是很好發揮的，投其所好即可。
